Solo recital in London at Queen Elisabeth Hall´s Purcell Room in 2015
Kleemola has been invited by the Latin American and Caribbean Cultural society (Laccs-UK) to give a concert at London´s
prestigious Queen Elisabeth Hall´s Purcell Room in 23rd of March in 2015. Kleemola´s debyt concert in London will
include the works by Bach, Aguado, Granados, Ponce, Villa-Lobos and two world premieres by Finnish composers Mikko Heiniö and Harri Suilamo.

The busy Year 2014: Festival performances, premiere of Mikko Heiniö, artistic director and recordings
Patrik Kleemola´s concert schedule included festival performances in Italy (Festival 5 Giornate, Milan and IV MASK festival in Bologna), Sweden (Lidköping Music Festival), Finland at Paraisten
urkupäivät (Parainen Organ Festival) and the First Turku Guitar Festival, where Kleemola is the artistic director.
In March Kleemola had concert tour in Italy (Milan, Bologna and Gessate) including masterclass held at Gessate Music Academy. In Milan
he gave the world premiere of Five Preludes for guitar by major Finnish composer Mikko Heiniö in Milan at Festival 5 Giornate. Kleemola ended the concert tour in
Helsinki at Temppeliaukio Church.
In June Kleemola recorded with tenor Markku Lautjärvi the Franz Schubert´s Die schöne Müllerin (D 795) in guitar arrangement by Kleemola.
The release of recording is scheduled for 2015. More information on the subject in early 2015.
In August Kleemola returned for the second time to the Lidköping Music Festival in Sweden playing chamber music including Swedish premieres of works by
René Eespere and
Mikko Heiniö.
Kleemola is the artistic director of the Turku Guitar Festival which was held for the first time in September with concerts and masterclasses by international artists
in the central venues in city of Turku. Festival was a great success with sold out concerts and the festival organisation
is looking forward for the next festival organised in 2015 or 2016.
In November Kleemola played the concert at Espoonlahti Churh in Finland including the world premiere of Quadri Morandi (sul tele di silenzio) by Finnish composer
Kai Nieminen. This is already the third work by Nieminen in recent years written for Kleemola.

New recording! Concerto recording with Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali
Kleemola is soloist in Francesco Maggio´s ECLIPSE concerto for guitar and orchestra with Milanese Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali conducted by Alessandro Calcagnile.
Kleemola has performed work in Italy with Lecce Symphony Orchestra conducted by Marcello Panni in Lecce, Monopoli and Tricase and at Casino of San Remo with San Remo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Giuseppe Acquaviva.

Concerts at Bellaggio Festival in Como (Italy) Sääksmäki Soi! Festival in Finland and tour in Argentina in autumn
Patrik Kleemola is invited to play a recital at the Bellaggio Festival in Como, Italy on the 14th of July.
The festival celebrates the anniversaries of Verdi and Wagner. Kleemola´s program features Tárrega´s transcriptions from Verdi and Wagner as well as works from
Villa-Lobos, Giuliani, Rautavaara, Maggio and Talmelli (Italian premiere).
At Sääksmäki Soi! Festival in Valkeakoski, Finland on the 3th of July Kleemola gives Finnish premiere of Kai Nieminen´s most recent work for guitar: A Walk to the Mysterious Woods (Sonata for guitar) dedicated to Kleemola.
The next day Kleemola records the work for a CD release for the Toccata Classics.
In october Kleemola returns to Argentina for a recital tour with concerts in Buenos Aires, Rosario and other cities. More information later.

The year 2013 starts with world premiere of Kai Nieminen´s Sonata for guitar at Florence
Patrik Kleemola is invited to play a recital at the 10th Contempoartefestival in Firenze.
The recital is held at Saint Mark´s English Church on the 4th of January with a program of Finnish and Italian contemporary music for guitar. The program features recently recorded works from Perchitarrasola CD with music by Ada Gentile, Francesco Maggio, Mauro Porro and Juha T. Koskinen, as well as Einojuhani Rautavaara´s guitar classic The Serenades of the Unicorn (1977) and the world premiere of Kai Nieminen´s A Walk to the Mysterious Woods...Sonata for guitar (2012).

Perchitarrasola CD will be released on April 2012!
The album is a collection of new Finnish and Italian guitar works written for Kleemola in recent years. Perchitarrasola includes works by Kai Nieminen, Juha T. Koskinen, Markku Klami, Francesco Maggio, Marcela Pavia, Mauro Porro, Andrea Talmelli and Ada Gentile. The album is released by PILFINK records. Concert with Orchestra Sinfonica di San Remo in Italy, Premieres and other concerts
Patrik Kleemola will give the premiere of the new guitar work CALAU – tre canti per ringraziare il sole by Francesco Maggio in his recital at Kantakaupungin kitarakonsertit – festival in Helsinki on 29th of october 2011. The work is already the sixth collaboration with the italian composer Francesco Maggio. Earlier this year Kleemola premiered Maggio´s guitar concerto ECLIPSE with Orchestra Sinfonica di Lecce ”Tito Schipa” in Italy.
20th of november Kleemola will the performing as a soloist of the Orchestra Sinfonica di San Remo in Italy. The works in the program are Joaquin Rodrigo´s Concierto de Aranjuez and Francesco Maggio´s ECLIPSE. The conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di San Remo is Giuseppe Acquaviva.
21th of november Kleemola is performing a recital at the II Stagione autunnale dell’associazione Cluster -festival in Lucca, Italy. In this concert will premier the new work Mugham Impulses 2 by composer from Azerbaidžan, Günay Mirzayeva. Other works in this concert include recently written works for Kleemola by Kai Nieminen, Juha T. Koskinen and Francesco Maggio.

Concerts in Italy and Finland during the summer of 2011
Patrik Kleemola will give the world premiere of italian composer Francesco Maggio`s guitar concerto ECLIPSE in Monopoli (Italy) on the 30.6.2011 with the Symphony Orchestra of Lecce ”Tito Schipa” conducted by Marcello Panni. The same concerts will be performed in Lecce 1.7. and Tricase 2.7.
Kleemola will give a solo guitar recital at Brinkhall Summer Concerts (
www.brinkhallinkesakonsertit.com) on wednesday 20.7.2011. The program will contain a recently written solo guitar work for Kleemola by finnish composer Kai Nieminen entitled Riflessioni sul nome Amedeo Modigliani (omaggio a Oscar Ghiglia) together with guitar classics by Giuliani and Villa-Lobos. Kleemola is playing the same program at Karjalohja´s church on 27.7.2011.
Kleemola will be featured on the concert at Turku Music Festival 2011 together with musicians from Se ensemble. Together with a work by Kurtag, Kleemola will give the world premiere performance of the solo guitar work Foco interno by finnish composer Juha T. Koskinen.
